Debbie Clement-Large

My logo reflects the heart of my work and the journeys I support. The soft green arc suggests the circle of life, with an intentional opening that represents possibility, transition, and the spaces we move through. At its centre, a winding green path symbolises each person’s unique journey — sometimes steady, sometimes tender — always moving toward something meaningful. The golden star held within the gap carries a dual message: it represents the hope of becoming the brightest version of ourselves, and also the gentle idea of a life’s final transition toward the stars. Together, these elements create a symbol that honours growth, endings, and the beauty of every story.

About Dr Debbie Clement-Large

My work is shaped by a lifelong journey of healing, growth, and reinvention. After losing my dad shortly after my fifteenth birthday, I spent several years navigating trauma, low confidence, and a sense of being untethered.

I studied for eight years, moved through different careers, and slowly rebuilt my sense of purpose. That path eventually led me to the University of Plymouth, where I led the Pastoral and Spiritual Support Service — a role in which I supported a community of around 20,000 people. During this time, I led memorials following staff and student deaths, supported individuals through grief and bereavement, and created the Space to Breathe and Grieve network to help colleagues feel held during difficult times.

Alongside this work, I have trained extensively in coaching, and wellbeing practices. I am an Advanced Life Coach, an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner, a CBT Practitioner, a Meditation and Mindfulness Practitioner, a Stress Management Practitioner, a Hypnotherapy Practitioner, a Functional Imagery Practitioner, and an Assertiveness Coach. I also completed Heal Your Life teacher training and am a licensed Spiritual Psychology Counsellor/Practitioner. My theological doctorate in Consciousness Studies explores how meditation, imagery, and hypnotherapy can support personal change.

I am also an accredited Funeral Celebrant with the Academy of Professional Celebrants.

All of these experiences allow me to support people with emotional resilience, gentle self‑understanding, and meaningful change. As a celebrant, I guide families through the turbulent waters of loss and create bespoke, heartfelt tributes that honour the life of their loved one. As a coach and practitioner, I help people stress less, worry well, and move forward with clarity and compassion.

And..

How it all started

How it all started

I first trained as a Chartered Management Accountant and later as a Business Analyst, but it didn’t take long to realise that spreadsheets and systems weren’t where my heart truly lived. What mattered most to me wasn’t business — it was people. Supporting others, empowering them, and creating meaningful human connection has always been at the centre of who I am and the work I feel called to do.

I want to achieve...

I want to achieve...

My aim is to create a calm, supportive space where people feel held through life’s most tender and transformative moments. Through funeral celebrancy, grief and bereavement support, and life coaching, I want to help individuals and families find steadiness, meaning, and hope — whether they are navigating loss, rebuilding confidence, or seeking a new direction. My work is about offering gentle guidance, emotional resilience, and heartfelt connection, so every person feels seen, supported, and able to move forward with clarity and compassion.
